LEGACY WEEKEND

Before we decide what to give, we begin by seeking the One who has called us to build. Prayer aligns our hearts with God's heart, strengthens our faith, and gives us clarity about how He is inviting us to participate.

Beginning November 15, join us for 21 Days of Prayer as we intentionally seek God for our families, our church, and the future He is leading us toward. Ask Him to reveal what He wants to build through your life and your generosity. Make space to listen, trust His leading, and believe for what may seem impossible in your own strength.

You don't have to have all the answers right now. Start by making yourself available to God.

Here are a few ways to begin:

• Set aside intentional time each day to pray about Legacy.

• Ask God to give you clarity about your part in the vision He has given Grace Point.

• Pray with your family and invite your children to be part of the conversation about generosity and legacy.

• Pray for our church to remain united in faith, bold in vision, and faithful to the people God is calling us to reach.

• Read Ecclesiastes 11:1 and ask God to grow your faith as you sow into what He is building.

Start here: “God, what are You asking me to believe for, and how do You want me to participate in what You are building through Grace Point?”

Legacy is our opportunity to come together as one church and bring an offering above and beyond our regular tithe. We give our tithe faithfully as part of our ongoing worship, and Legacy is a separate, intentional step of generosity toward the vision God has entrusted to our church.

Planning is how we put prayer into action. Rather than waiting until Legacy Sunday to decide, take time now to prayerfully consider what you can give and make a plan to follow through.

Your gift may look different from someone else's. This isn't about comparing amounts or feeling pressured to give a certain number. It's about asking God for direction, considering what He has entrusted to you, and responding with faith and generosity.

Here are practical ways to plan for Legacy:

• Start with prayer. Ask God to guide your decision before settling on an amount.

• Review your finances. Look at your household budget, upcoming expenses, and financial commitments to determine what you can give above and beyond your tithe.

• Choose a specific amount. Identify a Legacy gift that reflects your prayerful decision and your faith in what God is doing.

• Make room for generosity. Consider whether you can adjust discretionary spending, set aside money over the coming weeks, or give from resources God has already provided.

• Make a family plan. Talk together about what it means to invest in God's Kingdom and decide how your household will participate.

• Plan how you will give. Decide how you will bring your offering on Legacy Sunday, December 6.

You don't need to wait until you have a perfect financial picture or a large amount to give. Every person and every household can prayerfully consider their part in the vision.

Remember: The goal isn't equal gifts; it's a united church, each of us responding faithfully to God's direction. When we bring what God has placed in our hands together, He can do more through us than we could accomplish alone.

Preparation is about more than setting aside an offering. It's about getting our hearts ready to participate in something bigger than ourselves.

When we prepare, we choose to approach Legacy with expectation, gratitude, and faith. We remember what God has already done through Grace Point, celebrate the lives that have been changed, and look forward to the people and generations still to come.

Here are tangible ways to prepare:

• Mark your calendar. Set aside Sunday, December 6, 2026, for Legacy Sunday, and plan to be part of this special moment as we give together as one church.

• Set aside your gift. Once you've prayed and made your plan, begin setting aside your Legacy offering so you're ready to give.

• Talk about the vision. Share with your family what we're believing God to do through Grace Point Academy, Recovery Ranch, and the continued expansion of our ministry.

• Remember the stories. Reflect on the people whose lives have been impacted through Grace Point and pray for those who have yet to walk through our doors.

• Come with expectation. Prepare your heart to worship, celebrate, and participate—not simply as an individual giving an offering, but as part of a church family building together.
